Leadership that represents the diversity in our district.
I'm glad you're here and thank you for taking the time to view my site. I have lived in Hillsboro over 35 years and grew up attending Hillsboro schools. I am a graduate of Pacific University and have 2 children currently in the district and one child that is a graduate of Glencoe High School. My husband, Benito Martinez, also attended Hillsboro Schools, and we have been married over 20 years.
I have served the public for over 10 years as public health dental hygienist at Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center. At Virginia Garcia I manage the dental hygiene programs and am tasked with creating innovative oral health care programs that improve the health of the most disadvantaged in our community. I am also a Board Member of the Oregon Board of Dentistry and chair the board’s Dental Hygiene Committee.
I understands the challenges facing the district and its students and families. I will rely on my experience and collaborate with the public and local leaders to help find solutions that benefit our students.
It would be an honor to continue to serve the families and children of the Hillsboro School District. I'd appreciate your vote.
